Faerie Land
Faerie Land, the place of magic and enchantment, has many myths and legends surrounding its where abouts. The entrances to Faerie Land are also shrouded in mystery. Whatever the claims of where the Land of Elphame actually exists, the truth is that they are all correct. The reason for this is Elfland is an otherwordly place, which means that it can and does exist anywhere and everywhere, and has no constant geographical location in our three dimensional world. Many are the faerie portals or doorways such as Glastonbury Tor in Somerset, England and Knockshegouna, The Faerie Mound Of Oonagh, this is situated east of Lough Derg in Co. Donegal, regarded to be the most sacred lake in Ireland and other such sacred points. However, they all take us somewhere ethereal and not a real placewithin the earth. These faerie portals are merely the energy points on the earth that are at a strong enough resonance with the divine elements to create that kind of phenomena. I see faerie portals as the chakras of the earth. Britain and Ireland in particular, do seem to have more than their fair share of magical faerie doorways. Although all countries do of course have their own faerie traditions and culture.
